Community Action Steps
We can’t all do everything, but we can all do something.
In 2022, we started the What Can I Do? Challenge, inviting people from all backgrounds to participate in this fun BINGO-style activity to promote equitable communities. To keep this effort dynamic and easy to join, we have transformed it into Community Action Steps. The details are provided below.
Participating in Community Action Steps is an important personal activity that encourages inclusiveness and fairness. By joining these efforts, we break down the barriers that cause inequality. Every action—like volunteering, pushing for policy change, or teaching others—can inspire others to get involved. We often view systemic issues as if they are too large to challenge, forgetting that systems were created by people and it will take people to undo them. We’re focused on incremental and organic change AND that can begin my each of us doing something small everyday, or every week or once in a while.
BINGO, but make it Action!
